Install Waindow with Homebrew. Keep the same verified binary.

The cask downloads the one public Waindow 1.10.0 ZIP and pins its published SHA-256. The tap contains installation metadata only; Waindow source code is not included.

Waindow is not part of the official homebrew/cask repository and Homebrew does not endorse or support this tap. A fully qualified install command trusts that specific cask rather than every current and future item in the tap.

No source-code publication

Homebrew downloads the same compiled ZIP as the download page. The tap does not contain Swift source, an Xcode project, signing credentials, certificates, or private repository history.

First launch

Homebrew does not bypass macOS security.

Homebrew preserves macOS quarantine. The current direct build is signed with a stable local identity, but it is not Developer ID signed or notarized, so macOS may block the first launch. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, authenticate if asked, and confirm Open. Do not disable Gatekeeper.

Install

Run the fully qualified cask command above.

Open once

Launch Waindow from Applications.

Approve if blocked

Use Open Anyway without disabling Gatekeeper.

Maintain the install

Upgrade or remove it with the same package manager.

Upgrade

brew update && brew upgrade --cask indiveloper/tap/waindow

Prefer this after the tap publishes a new version so Homebrew's installed-version record stays consistent.

Uninstall

brew uninstall --cask indiveloper/tap/waindow

Normal uninstall removes the app. The cask intentionally has no destructive zap rule for local preferences or memo data.

Observed validation

Audit, install, inspect, and uninstall passed.

A clean standard macOS 14 GitHub runner audited and styled the cask, installed it, checked version, bundle ID, minimum macOS and strict codesign, then removed the app.
